Tamil Nadu is to stop LTTE activities

The Tamil Nadu police said that the LTTE aides entering the state will be immediately apprehended and detained.
According to Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, P. Rajendran, security has been tightened in the coastal areas of the state to prevent LTTE supporters infiltrating into the state for whatever reason including smuggling operations. The Police chief had said that the ‘Coastal Security Guards’ are carrying duties around the clock on the look out for infiltrators by sea and operating in the entire costal area of Tamil Nadu.

He adds that the Coastal Security Group is constantly moving with the public and everybody. And they are collecting intelligence as well. There is a branch called Q-branch, and they are also on the move. So whatever intelligence is there, we take action immediately.
