SLFP is now finalising the nomination lists

Sri Lanka Freedom Party is now finalising the nomination lists of their contestants under the ticket of UPFA for the eastern provincial council election.
Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva says the interviews in this regard conclude tomorrow. A number of the senior members of the SLFP representing the three districts in the province have applied for nominations.
Apart from the UPFA member parties, several other political parties have also expressed willingness to contest under UPFA.
The Minister added that another discussion will be held today with the representative of these parties to finalise the nomination lists.
