Bogollagama is schedule to leave for Egypt

Minister of Foreign Affairs Rohitha Bogollagama is schedule to leave for Egypt to attend the 2nd Ministerial meeting of the Asia Middle East Dialogue.
The two day summit would start on 5th of next month in Sharam El Sheikh. The first meeting of this summit was held in Singapore in 2005 with a vision to realize greater understanding between the Asia and the Middle East at both government and non governmental levels.
This year’s summit would be attended by nearly 20 ministers of Foreign Affairs from Asia and the Middle East as well as political dignitaries, senior policy makers and diplomatic. The summit would also facilitate to leading industrialists and businessmen of the both region to have one to one meeting.
Minister Bogollagama is to meet his counterparts from the Asia and the Middle East and to have talks to strengthen Sri Lankan ties with them.
During the visit the Minister will also call on the Egyptian President, Prime Minister and several other ministers there. Minister Bogollagama will also address on the subject of counter terrorism at the Asian Study Centre in Cairo.
