Weerawansa admits his suspension

Former leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Parliamentary Group Wimal Weerawansa, in a special speech to Parliament this morning , admitted that he has been suspended by the party.

Speaking further, he alleged a conspiracy within the party to sideline him.

Meanwhile, another JVP MP who is close to the party’ Propaganda Secretary claimed that 10 members, including Mr. Weerawansa, have decided to function as an independent group in Parliament.
