JVP still to replace Wimal

The JVP is yet to decide on filling the vacancies of Party spokesman and Propaganda Secretary.

However, Kurunegala District JVP parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the Somawansa faction on Monday said that they being a party which strongly believes in democracy they would take a decision only after careful observation and consideration.

Dissanayake said that JVP is a party that works according to party policies and even in the past responsibilities of the parliamentary leadership was shared and at times it had been led by Chandrasena Wijesinghe and Vijitha Herath.

He said that there are three more allegations against Wimal Weerawansa and these include working against party policies, revealing the party’s inner issues and creating a division within the party.
