Rs. 5 million for late Raviraj family

The cabinet has decided to pay Rs. 5 million as compensation to the family of the assassinated Jaffna District Parliamentarian Nadarajah Raviraj. This is for the future of his wife and children, said information and Mass Media Minster Anura Priyatharsana Yapa.

President Mahinda Rajapakse brought the proposal to the cabinet and this money will be paid to his wife Sasikala Raviraj by the treasury through the Ministry Parliamentary Affairs, he said further.
