Nine LTTE terrorists killed, thirty-one wounded & bunker line captured with military items

WELIOYA:  One LTTE terrorist was killed and two others were wounded in two different confrontations in JANAKAPURA North area around 09.45 a.m. and 10.55 a.m. yesterday (24). One Army soldier also was killed and another one wounded in the incident.  

Two LTTE terrorists were killed and five others were wounded in two different confrontations in JANAKAPURA North area around 12.55 p.m. and 1.40 p.m. yesterday (24).Two Army soldiers also were wounded during the incident.

One Army soldier was wounded in a LTTE mortar attack in JANAKAPURA North area around 4.30 p.m. yesterday (24). 

Four LTTE terrorists were killed and ten others were wounded in two different confrontations in JANAKAPURA North area around 10.30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. yesterday (24).

Two LTTE terrorists were killed and six others were wounded in three different incidents in KIRIIBBANWEWA North area around 09.10 a.m, 11.35 a.m. and 1.55 p.m. yesterday (24). One Army soldier also was wounded in the incident. 

Fifteen LTTE bunkers were captured and eight LTTE terrorists were wounded after a confrontation in KIRIIBBANWEWA North area around 08.00 a.m. yesterday (24).
