Abducted students will be allowed to sit for exam

Examination for the LTTE abducted students of Amparai Vinayagapuram will be conducted again.

The GCE O/L exams at Vinayagapuram Maha Vidyalayam, from where the students were abducted were not held for the third day. A list of 110 candidates who could not sit for the exams, including the kidnapped candidates was submitted to the education department. It is said that after obtaining all the information a decision will be taken.

For the candidates of war affected, Vakarai, Kathiravely, Mahaveligama, Somapura and for the candidates affected by Chikunguniya in Jaffna, exams will be held in February, Commissioner General of Examination said.
