US Nominee for President’s Commission

The US has nominated Arthuri Comodevi as its representative to the president’s commission which is to inquire into the abduction and killings in Sri Lanka.
He has served as the US assistant secretary for displaced refugees in the US statistic department. He is also a graduate of US army academy.
At the same time the European Union has nominated former France Human Rights Affairs Minister, Bernard Soucher for this commission.
Former Indian Chief Justice Pasupathy will lead this commission. Australia, Canada, India, World Parliamentary Front, Japan, Netharland, Britain and UNHCR are to nominate their representatives.
