CDF Officer Killed in Claymore Mine Explosion

AMPARA: LTTE terrorists detonated a claymore mine targeting a security post manned by CDF (Civil Defence Force ) officers closer to BRAVO junction on MANDUR road in CHAVALAKADE this morning (11) around 10.15 a.m..

 One CDF officer was killed in the explosion.  Search operations in the area commenced.
