LTTE Damage Electricity Transformer

JAFFNA: SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY was disturbed in and around KODIKAMAM after LTTE terrorists damaged the electricity transformer that distributes power to the area Sunday (10) around 1.30 a.m..
 Police investigations on the incident are continuing.
 
Repair work of the LTTE – damaged transformer was to begin soon.

 This was the fifth electricity transformer damaged by the LTTE since February this year.

Terrorists damaged two transformers in PUTTALAM, one in Mt. LAVINIA and another in THALAVAKELE.
 
  The same day, troops recovered thirty one anti personnel mines from NAGARKOVIL area.
