TID seeks public assistance to arrest LTTE suspect

The Terrorist Investigations Department (TID) has released a photograph and other relevant details of Armugam Thivakaran, a hardcore LTTE cadre and has sought public assistance to trace the suspect, the Defence Ministry said.

The suspect is wanted in connection of numerous terrorist activities including several civilian massacres, the Defence Ministry said.

He had resided in the following addresses before he went on missing: No 32, Kanatta Para ,Kudapaduwa, Negambo, No 110, Alutwatte Para, Halawatha, No 195, Galle Road , Bambalapitiya and No 28, Boston Place, Colombo 6

The National Identity Card in the suspect's possessions bears the number 782424815v.
