image 100 thousand displaced persons of 30, 469 families were resettled in their 8 divisional secretary divisions within three months in the Batticaloa district. 28, 026 persons of 8781 families of Vellavely area, 24791 persons of 7211 families of Vavunativu area, 21384 persons of 6385 families of Kokkotticholai and 15,526 persons of 4585 families of Batticaloa Paduvankarai and Vakarai were the people resettled.
