Mobile phones in Batticaloa have started to function again.

The mobile phone services in the Batticaloa district were suspended during the military operation in the east to liberate the Batticaloa district from the LTTE grip. Now the security forces have driven away the LTTE and brought the entire Batticaloa district under their control and normalcy has been restored and the mobile phones are back in services.
