image The 47th death anniversary of Prime Minister S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike will be commemorated today at Samadhi, Horagolla with the participation of Bandaranaike family members and other invitees.

Mani Shanker Aiyar, India's Union Cabinet Minister of Panchayati Raj, Youth Affairs and Sports, a front liner in the ruling Congress Party, will be the guest speaker at the Bandaranaike commemoration meeting today at 5 p.m. at the BMICH. Aiyar will speak on 'South Asian politics, especially southern Asia'.
