Citizens of India, holding jobs on tourist visas will be deporte

image The Immigration and Emigration authorities are engaged in activities to expel the Indian citizens who stay without the approval of the authorities. The Indian citizens arrive on tourist visas and get casual employments here.

 

Eight Indians with tourist visas, who are allegedly working in paddy fields of Tissamaharamaya and Hambantota have been arrested by police on the 7th of Sept. Visa holders doing employment is prohibited by law. The eight Indians arrested are now detained in the detention camps, sources said.
