Meeting of Party leaders convened by Speaker

A meeting of the Party leaders will take place today presided over by Speaker W.J.M. Lokubandara at the parliamentary complex. The leaders will discuss about the no-confidence motion submitted in parliament against Minister Milinda Moragoda.

However, there are altogether five no-confidential motions submitted in parliament by both government and opposition parties and decision on them are still pending.

The parliament will assemble for two days before the budget, i.e. tomorrow and day after tomorrow.
