Two electricity transformers destroyed by the LTTE in Wattala

Two transformers belonging to the Ceylon Electricity Board was blown up by the LTTE early this morning at Elakandhe in the Wattala North area. The LTTE had cut the wire fence around the electricity transformer and blasted it. Seven houses around the area were affected by this blast and the electricity around the Wattala area was disrupted.
