Meetings to develop education in the east

A meeting chaired by the President Mahinda Rajapakse is scheduled to be held in the Temple Trees, attended by the Education Minister, Susil Prem Jayanth, North East Governor Rear Admiral, Mohan Wijayawickrama and higher officers for the development of education in the east under the rising of the east scheme.
On the other hand another meeting headed by the education Minister Susil Prem Jayanth is to be held in the Education Ministry to discuss the displaced teachers and students, to provide the schools with the necessary resources and look into the problems faced by the volunteer teacher and to grant permanent status for them.
