93 persons were taken into custody during the search operation in Gampaha and Kathirgamam.

60 persons were arrested in Gampaha in a police and army joint operation today morning. 33 were arrested in Kathirgamam.

At the same time a suspicious Tamil woman was arrested at Nochchiyagama area by the air force. The arrested persons had no identity card or any other documents to prove their identification.
