Two new police stations in the east

Two new police stations were opened in the Batticaloa district at Miyankulam and Navalady junction of the Batticaloa Colombo Road on Wednesday.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Jayantha Jayasinghe and the Valaichenai Supdt. Of Police Anil Wijesekara declared opened the new police stations. These are two police stations out of the 23 police stations to be opened in the east. Including these two, six new police stations were opened in the east so far after the east was liberated.
