FM condoles on China's quake

Minister Rohitha Bogollagama has expressed the Sri Lanka government’s condolences for the earthquake victims in China.
Accordingly he visited the Chinese embassy in Colombo this afternoon and signed the Condolence Book.
At a subsequence meeting with Chinese ambassador Ya Dabo he assured that the government will do all within its capacity to help those in need.
 The Sri Lankan Minister also expressed appreciation over work commenced by China to provide assistance and relief to all affected by the earthquake.  Minister Bogollagama added that he is in touch with government and privet sector bodies to arrange assistance to areas in urgent need of medical supplies, shelter, food and other essentials. He recalled the outpouring of china’s generosity after the 2004 Tsunami.
