Residents of low land areas to be vigilant says Irrigation officials

The irrigation department warns the residents of low land areas to be vigilant of the currant flood situation since the flood recedes from the high land areas where the Kaluganga river starts.
The residents are advised to move towards safer places because of this condition. The irrigation department further stated that there are possibilities of floods in Nampana, Naragala, Bulathsinghala, Kalawellawa, Paragoda, Weligama, Warakagoda, Anguruwathota, Putupawala, Naarathupana, Galapatha, Idilanka, Paraduwa, Diyagama, Alamodara, Dodangoda and Palathota areas.
