Bomber used a remote controller to explode the bomb says Police

Defence Sources say the bomb which exploded on the railway track between Dehiwela and Wellawatte around 7.20 this morning was made up of explosives weighing around one and a half kilos.

Investigations have revealed that it was blasted through the use of a remote controller.

24 passengers of a Colombo bound train, targeted by the blast were injured. Seven of them were women. Police Media Spokesman and Senior SP Ranjith Gunasekera says damages have been caused to the railway track as well as to the train.
