Driver of Vice Chancellor under interrogation

The temporary driver of the missing vice chancellor Subramaniam Raveendranath was interrogated regarding the kidnapping. The driver is from Batticaloa, CID Director, Deputy Inspector General, Asoka Wijayatikae said.
The missing Vice Chancellor was using hired vehicle for some time but on the day of abduction he used the official car.
Two police teams were appointed to inquire into this kidnapping. So far six persons were questioned in this regard said Mt. Lavinia Police Superintendent Wille Abeynayake.
He had threats for the last 3 months, his family members said.
