LTTE claymore attack in Vavuniya kills a policeman

A policeman was killed on Park Road in Vavuniya by the claymore mine set up by the LTTE around 8:30 a.m. The claymore mine was set up targeting the patrolling policemen and was detonated using remote control. At the same time a 20 year-old student was shot and killed near Nellukkulam Kalaimagal Vidyalayam. The police recovered the body this morning.
