LTTE Member was arrested in Tamil Nadu

An LTTE member, who went with the refugees to Tamil Nadu from Mannar, was arrested in Tamil Nadu.

Palsamy hailing form Mannar was a driver in the LTTE organization. He went as a refugee to South India and was staying at the Mandapam Refugees camp for some time and then he started his usual work as an LTTE cadre in the Camp area to earn money. He threatened the people and said that he was an LTTE terrorist, who came to Tamil Nadu to earn money for the LTTE. So, the people of the area had informed the CID police about him. Police arrested him and enquired. He accepted that he was the driver to Inniyavan, Mannar organizer of LTTE. So, Palsamy was put in jail at Chengalpattu Prison.

 14 refugees with 4 children went to India, Dhanuskody, Arichalmunnai, the day before yesterday and were allowed to stay at Mandapam Refuge Camp.
