Police registration would solve most of the problems - Deputy Minister Mr. Radha Krishnan

Deputy Minister Mr. Radha Krishnan expressed his views about the Police Registration as a problem-solving programme.

After the registration, police will issue a Certificate by the Defence Ministry, which all help the person to identify himself at the checkpoints and move freely.

There are about 300 Tamils arrested on suspicion and were taken to Poosa Detention Camp. If they have had a full identification certificate, they would not have been arrested. To avoid these arrests all Tamils should register their full particulars with the nearest Police Stations, especially in the south.
